Mogus Launcher

What it is based on

Mogus Launcher is a real GPL-3.0 fork of Prism Launcher, a mature C++ and Qt 6 Minecraft launcher. It retains Prism's instance management, Microsoft authentication, game downloads, loaders, and CurseForge/Modrinth integration.

How it operates

After choosing a Microsoft or offline account, the launcher reads the public NameIT pack catalogue over HTTPS. Categories and releases appear automatically from website metadata, and selected packs are handed to Prism's existing verified import pipeline.

How it should look

The app mirrors this website: charcoal surfaces, orange highlights, rounded cards, clear status messages, and NameIT artwork. The opening view is a friendly pack homepage rather than a plain technical instance list.

Install or update Modrinth and CurseForge packs.
Manage every Minecraft instance in one place.
Keep normal community modpack browsing available.
Recover cleanly when the catalogue is offline.

Account choices

Microsoft sign-in is recommended for licensed Minecraft and NameIT server access. An offline username option is planned for local and compatible offline play.

Offline compatibility

Offline accounts are not currently compatible with NameIT Network servers. We are working on a safe compatibility approach. This limitation will be shown clearly inside the app.
